Patricia painted two bears For the Little Knife Sanctuary Welcome Arch. One reads “Imagine there is no War” when you are coming in and “ You might say I am Dreamer” when you leave. I built the frame over the road and attached the signs to the support beams. With ropes I pulled the signs to the correct height and bolted them to the posts.
Unfortunately after the sign was installed I found out that the height of the arch was not efficient. I had to raise the height by four more feet. (this was a big headache but I managed). To get additional height, I designed a pulley system, so that the signs can be flipped out of the way for delivery trucks etc. Finally, the arch is done.
