Ms. Wagman revisited the Great!Lakes Candy Kitchen in Knife River Minnesota along the north shore of Lake Superior, and Canelake’s Candies, in Virginia Minnesota on the Iron Range. This was her first summer visit to Minnesota. Previously she filmed her movie in January in twenty below zero weather.

Duluth Superior Film Festival / Little Knife River Sanctuary

In June 2015, We had the first event at The Little Knife River Sanctuary (artist retreat). The Duluth Superior Film Festival hosted the party. We had homemade bread made in the woodburning cookstove, bonfire, light walks to the river and to the trailer residencies. People were able to view vintage trailer restorations, sauna, and writer's studio.
The DJ's music was outstanding and created the right atmosphere. The Blau House glowed with lights and the Northern Star was a special presence on this beautiful evening.

New stage.

The Little Knife Sanctuary presents the first music jam on the new stage. Ryan Clover on the banjo and me Frank Sander on the dulcimer. In the future the stage will host poetry readings, live music and films.
